Saint Martha of the Side Eye

Meet Saint Martha, named for the last passenger pigeon, who lived out her days at the Cincinnati zoo, and left us in 1914. Over 3 billion passenger pigeons lost in just 100 years, so her side eye is well deserved! May she be a reminder to care our precious planet!

Created from felted wool, with bead and embroidery embellishments, she is presented in a painted vintage frame. Signed and ready to hang.

Measures 14" x 17.5" x 1"
